204 crew from IRIS Bushehr brought to Colombo Port

The Sri Lanka Navy has safely evacuated a total of 204 crew members from the Iranian naval vessel IRIS Bushehr near Sri Lanka’s territorial waters and brought them to the Port of Colombo, according to the Navy Spokesman. Making a special statement on the matter, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said yesterday (March 05) that steps would be taken to escort the Iranian vessel to Trincomalee Harbour. It was also stated that a total of 208 crew members had been on board the vessel.
