5-hour water cut for Dehiwala, Moratuwa today

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a scheduled 5-hour water cut for several key areas in the Colombo suburbs today (March 29). According to the Board, water supply will be suspended from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The interruption is due to a planned power outage affecting the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant, which will temporarily halt purification and distribution operations. The following areas will experience a disruption of water services during the period : Dehiwala – Mount Lavinia Municipal Council areas: Including Kalubowila, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, and Ratmalana. Moratuwa: Specifically Rawatawatta and Soysapura.
