5 Saudi-based KC-135 aircraft hit in Iranian attack

A recent Iranian missile strike has reportedly hit the Prince Sultan Air Base, damaging 05 U.S. Air Force refuelling aircraft stationed at the base, according to a report by ‘The Wall Street Journal’. The aircraft involved were Boeing KC-135 Stratotankers, which are primarily used to refuel American fighter jets mid-air during military operations. Reports indicate that the aircraft were damaged but not destroyed, and no casualties were reported from the missile strike. The damaged refuelling aircraft are currently undergoing repairs, although the extent of the damage remains unclear. Meanwhile, another KC-135 refuelling aircraft recently crashed in Iraq, resulting in the deaths of 06 members of the United States Armed Forces who were on board.
