6 cops linked to Catholic priest assault, interdicted

Six police officers attached to the Gampaha Divisional Crime Detection Bureau (DCDB), who were remanded over the alleged assault of a Catholic priest, have been interdicted. The suspects were remanded until Jan. 29 by the Gampaha Magistrate’s Court yesterday (Jan. 26) when they were produced before the court.
