Air ambulance crashes in India, killing 7

An air ambulance en route to Delhi from Ranchi has crashed in the Chatra district of Jharkhand, killing all 07 on board. According to Civil Aviation authorities, the aircraft had established contact with Kolkata at 7:34 pm on Monday, seeking an alternate route due to inclement weather before it lost communication and radar contact. Villagers reported hearing a loud explosion in the night sky, followed by a large object spinning as it fell. They discovered the wreckage shortly afterward and informed local authorities, who immediately activated standard emergency procedures to locate the aircraft. (Agencies)
