ASP Olugala hospitalised

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) – Rohan Olugala is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital in Colombo, according to reports. He was initially admitted to the University Hospital – Kotelawala Defence University after falling suddenly ill on Jan. 30. While undergoing treatment there, he was later transferred to the National Hospital for further treatment on the instructions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasooriya, after being examined by a team of specialist doctors. The IGP has stated that ASP Olugala is now recovering while continuing to receive treatment.
