Bail for Hemal

Renowned actor – Hemal Ranasinghe has been granted bail by the Mt. Lavinia Magistrate court today (Feb. 03). The Magistrate ordered to release him on a surety of Rs. 100,000. Hemal had surrendered to Wellawatte Police this morning over an alleged assault dating back to Jan. 08 at Havelock City. According to the Police, Ranasinghe had been repeatedly summoned to provide a statement regarding the complaint but failed to comply.
