CIABOC arrests 3 over Sathosa garlic deal

A former Senior Manager (Supplies) of Lanka Sathosa and two other individuals were arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) yesterday (Jan. 29). The suspects have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the alleged financial loss exceeding Rs. 17 million incurred during the sale of a stock of garlic in 2021.
