Lawyers for former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena have released an affidavit with regard to an earlier statement made by Chandrasena to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) over the controversial Airbus deal. The affidavit states that Chandrasena’s previous statement was obtained under alleged intimidation where he was threatened to include the names of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and MP Namal Rajapaksa in his statement.
