GMOA’s 48-hour island-wide token strike ends

The 48-hour island-wide token strike launched by the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) ended at 8.00 am today, the association announced. With the conclusion of the strike, all general and daily treatment services across the hospital system resumed as normal. Meanwhile, the GMOA said that its planned series of island-wide industrial actions will continue. Decisions regarding the nature, plans, and timeline of future actions are to be taken at a special executive council meeting of the GMOA scheduled to be held later today.
