GMOA withdraws from Govt’s ‘Arogya’ program

The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) says they will withdraw from the ‘Arogya’ project launched by the Ministry of Health, effective today (March 02). GMOA Media Spokesman Dr Chamil Wijesinghe has said the decision was taken in response to the government’s failure to provide a satisfactory response to its demands. Dr. Wijesinghe has also raised concerns regarding the transparency and objectives of the Arogya project.
