Hatton school bullies to be produced in court today

Three students have been arrested in connection with an incident in which a student was assaulted inside a classroom at a leading school in the Hatton area. Hatton Police Headquarters stated that the suspects were arrested yesterday (28). Preliminary investigations have revealed that a clash had occurred about three weeks ago between two groups of Grade 10 students, and that a former student of the school had also been involved in the incident. However, after the matter was settled within the school, the assault was later circulated on social media. Subsequently, the mother of the student who was allegedly assaulted lodged a complaint with the Hatton Police yesterday (28). Following an investigation, police officers arrested two students and a former student on suspicion of carrying out the assault. The student who was allegedly assaulted has been admitted to the Dickoya Base Hospital. The two school students and the former student who were arrested are due to be produced before the Hatton Magistrate’s Court today (29). Hatton Police Headquarters further stated that steps will be taken, through the Magistrate, to release the two student suspects and the former student to their parents thereafter.
