IMF Managing Director Kristalina to visit Sri Lanka on Monday

The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kristalina Georgieva, is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka next Monday (16). She is expected to remain in the country until Wednesday on a three-day visit, reports indicate. During her stay in Sri Lanka, she is scheduled to assess the damage caused to the country by Cyclone ‘Ditwah’ and is also expected to hold discussions on the assistance that could be provided by the IMF to support Sri Lanka’s recovery.
