India succeeded in winning the Under-19 Cricket World Cup for the sixth time today (06). They achieved the feat by defeating the England Under-19 team by 100 runs in the final. Batting first, the India Under-19 team amassed 411 runs for the loss of nine wickets at the end of their allotted 50 overs. Accordingly, the England Under-19 side was set a target of 412 runs to win the match. However, the England youth team was bowled out for around 311 runs in 40 overs and two balls.
