Indian Team Arrives in the Island

The Indian cricket team has arrived in the island to compete against Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament being held in Sri Lanka. The contingent comprised 41 Indian cricketers and officials. In addition, 12 officials of the International Cricket Council (ICC) also arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, on the same flight. Upon their arrival at Katunayake Airport, the airport authorities took steps to complete all clearance formalities and facilitate their departure from the airport within a brief period of approximately five minutes.
