‘Krrish’ case postponed to Feb. 19

The Colombo High Court has ordered that the case filed against MP – Namal Rajapaksa over the controversial ‘Krrish’ project deal be postponed until Feb. 19. This follows a decision by lawyers to refrain from court duties today (Feb. 16). However, when the case was taken up today, Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the court, reports say. The case pertains to allegations that Rajapaksa received Rs. 70 million from the Indian company ‘Krrish’ under the pretext of promoting the game of rugby.
