Man nabbed at BIA with 11 kg of ‘Kush’ and Hashish

A suspect has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake, by the officers of the Police Narcotics Bureau Airport Unit while in possession of 11 kg of ‘Kush’ and Hashish. During the inspection, officers seized 06 kg and 590 g of ‘Kush’ and 04 kg and 910 g of Hashish from his possession. The arrested suspect, a 35-year-old, has been identified as a resident of Colombo 14. Further investigations are underway.
