March ‘Aswesuma’ payments to be credited today

The Welfare Benefits Board (WBB) has announced that the March allowance of the “Aswesuma” welfare programme will be credited to beneficiaries’ bank accounts today (March 12). More than Rs. 13 billion has been allocated for families receiving welfare benefits under the programme. Accordingly, 1,408,635 families are eligible for benefits totaling Rs. 11,179,801,250, while an additional 256,565 beneficiaries will receive Rs. 2,350,530,000, which will be deposited into their respective accounts.
