Meeting between Tilvin and Jaishankar!

An official meeting was held in New Delhi between a Sri Lankan delegation, including Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) General Secretary Tilvin Silva, and Indian Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar. The discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, exploring future growth opportunities, and paying particular attention to social welfare programmes. It was also noted during the meeting that India has consistently stood by Sri Lanka as a trusted and genuine partner. Meanwhile, posting on the social media platform X regarding the meeting, the Indian Foreign Minister stated that he had engaged in a very cordial and productive exchange of views with the JVP delegation. He further remarked that the discussion served as a strong foundation for further deepening the close ties between the two countries.
