MoE instructs to ‘self-learn’ on Wednesdays

The Ministry of Education has directed all school principals to arrange for students to engage in self-learning from home on Wednesdays, which have been designated as weekly school holidays under the Government’s energy management program. Accordingly, Secretary of the Ministry Nalaka Kaluwewa has instructed formally that all principals ensure students receive the necessary assignments, exercises, and revision materials to engage in learning from home on the relevant day. He stated this in a letter to all education authorities, addressing the continuation of the daily learning process in schools amid the ongoing global fuel crisis. (Source : Aruna)
