New post for ASP Olugala

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Rohan Olugala has been appointed as the new Director of the Walana Central Anti-Corruption Unit, police announced. In his expanded role, ASP Olugala will also serve as the head of the unit attached to the Special Task Force (STF), which is tasked with seizing illegal narcotics and combating organized crime island-wide. ASP Olugala has led numerous high-profile domestic and international police operations. His notable successes include the arrests of ‘Kehelbaddara Padme’ and ‘Commando Salintha’ in Indonesia, as well as 05 suspects in Nepal, including Ishara Sewwandi, the alleged mastermind behind the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder case.
