Ninety-day detention order for Sallay

Permission has been granted to detain and question retired Major General Suresh Sallay, former Director of the State Intelligence Service, for a period of 90 days in connection with investigations into the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, following his arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department. Mr Suresh Sallay was arrested on Wednesday (25) morning while he was on his way to work at a private institution in Peliyagoda.
