NPP MP Faisal’s vehicle crashes in Chilaw

A vehicle driven by the National People’s Power (NPP) Puttalam District MP – Mohamed Faisal, has been involved in an accident after veering off the road and crashing into a wall at the Bandarawatta bend in Chilaw. Police stated that the incident occurred around 11.45 p.m. yesterday (March 29) while the MP was returning to his residence in Madurankuliya after attending to a personal matter. According to sources, the vehicle had crashed into a wall in the Kakkapalliya area after the MP had fallen asleep on the wheel. The MP, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle at the time, had escaped without injuries. However, the accident caused significant damage to both the vehicle and the wall.
