Online registration for 2026 A/L exam opens today

The Examinations Department has announced that applications for the General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) Examination 2026 will be accepted online from today (March 24) to April 24, 2026. All applicants are required to submit their applications exclusively through the official websites, www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic, following the instructions provided. Students from government and government-approved private schools must submit their applications through their school principals, who will use the username and password provided to them. However, Private candidates must apply personally online using their National Identity Card number for registration. After completing the online application, both school and private applicants are advised to print a copy of their submission and keep it in a safe place for future reference. The Examinations Department states that all applications must be submitted before the deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.
