Veteran politician Prof. Tissa Vitharana has passed away at the age of 91. He reportedly passed away today morning (Feb. 13) at his residence in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte following a prolonged illness. He served the nation in several key capacities, including as a Member of Parliament, a Cabinet Minister, and a Provincial Governor.
