Shooting attack on the house of Batuwatte Chamara’s wife

A shooting attack was carried out in the early hours of today (07) on the house of the wife of Batuwatte Chamara, an alleged member of an organised crime gang. Police state that the shooting targeted the house located on St. Anne’s Road, Ja-Ela, and that no one was injured in the incident. Police suspect that the attackers arrived on a motorcycle, carried out the shooting, and fled the scene.
