Sikkuge’s farewell match for the Army team!

Sri Lanka cricketer Seekkuge Prasanna is playing his farewell match for the Army team as he retires after 22 years of service in the Sri Lanka Army. Representing the Army Ordnance Corps, Seekkuge Prasanna served the Army team for 22 years. During this period, he represented Sri Lanka in one Test match, 40 One Day Internationals, and 20 Twenty20 Internationals. He also took part in 120 first-class matches during this time. Following his retirement from Army service, his final match representing the Army team will be played this weekend against the Sebastianites Cricket and Athletic Club at the Panagoda Army Grounds. As he walked out to bat for his final innings for the Army, fellow players of the Army team paid tribute to him.
