Sri Lanka refused the request by three Iranian ships to come to Sri Lanka on a goodwill visit as well as a request by the United States to land its two fighter jets in Mattala, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake revealed to Parliament today (March 20). “Sri Lanka maintained its neutrality by refusing requests by both the US and Iran,” he said.
