SL set for final 1st-round showdown against Zimbabwe

Sri Lanka will play their final first-round match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup today (Feb. 19) against Zimbabwe. The match is scheduled to begin at 3.00 p.m. at the R. Premadasa Stadium. Both teams have already secured qualification for the Super 8 stage of the tournament. Cricket sources indicate that several changes are expected in the Sri Lankan squad. Fast bowler Matheesha Pathirana, who sustained an injury, has been replaced by Dilshan Madushanka. Meanwhile, fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera is reportedly set to be rested for the fixture.
