According to the statement, a discussion on the matter is scheduled for March 16, under the patronage of the Minister of Buddhasasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs. The Ministry emphasized that it continues to take active steps to preserve and promote Sri Lanka’s cultural values, including New Year traditions, and remains committed to these efforts in the future.
