Sri Lanka squad named for the T20 World Cup

Sri Lanka Cricket has officially announced the national squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The 15-member squad will be led by Dasun Shanaka. Notably, Kusal Janith Perera and Kamindu Mendis, who were not included in the T20 series against England, have been named in the squad. Meanwhile, Dhananjaya de Silva has been left out of the team. The squad comprises Dasun Shanaka, Pathum Nissanka, Kamil Mishara, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Janith Perera, Charith Asalanka, Janith Liyanage, Pavan Rathnayake, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Matheesha Pathirana and Eshan Malinga.
