Two LP gas ships arrive in SL

Two ships carrying liquefied petroleum (LP) gas have arrived at the Uswetakeiyawa–Thaldiyawatta gas buoy this morning (March 18). Unloading operations have already commenced, according to reports. Additionally, a fuel ship also arrived in the country earlier today. Speaking to the media yesterday (March 17), President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated that Sri Lanka has imported 38,000 metric tons of LP gas so far this month. Another shipment of 33,000 metric tons is expected within the next 02 days, ensuring sufficient supply to meet domestic demand. Related News: President assures no shortage of gas (Update)
